Vita

Rudolf Kruse is a Professor of Computer Science. From 1996 -2017 he was the leader of the Computational Intelligence Research Group at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Magdeburg, see http://fuzzy.cs.uni-magdeburg.de. Since 2017 he has the status of an  emeritus professor. He is still active in research and teaching.

The prestigious award in the category Information and Communication Technologies (Price money 400.000 Euro) is given to Goldwasser, Micali, Rivest and Shamir for enabling a secure digital society thanks to modern cryptography
