Foundations in Computational Intelligence (Bachelor Students)
Advanced Topics in Computational Intelligence and Bioinformatics (Master Students)
This seminar is for both Bachelor and Master students. While bachelor students will work on basic concepts, the master students wil learn about the advanced topics in computational intelligence and bioinformatics:

- Computational Intelligence in Medical Image Analysis
- Computational Intelligence in Disease Prognosis and Disease Development
- Computational Intelligence in Personalised Medicine
- Computational Intelligence in Phylogenetic Analysis
- Computational Intelligence in Protein Function Prediction
- Computational Intelligence in Epigenetics
- Computational Intelligence in Protein Structure Prediction and Calculation
- Computational Intelligence in Gene Classification Based on Sequence Data
- Computational Intelligence in Psychology

11.11. 2024: Report Presentation day 1 (students present 2 slides each)
25.11. 2024: Report Presentation day 2 (students present 2 slides each)
9.12. 2024: Report Presentation day 3 (students present 2 slides each)
Seminar Presentation Days:
13.01.2025 (5 topics), 3 hours 1- 4 pm
20.01.2025 (5 topics), 3 hours 1- 4 pm
Deadlines:
14.10.2024 Kickoff meeting
15.10.2024, 12 noon time: Topic selection by students (they provide 3 topics in a ranking)
16.10.2024, 12 noon time: Topic assignment by the lecturers
17.10.2024, 12 noon time: Students confirm the topics

Talks and reports:
Bachelor Students: give a presentation of 20 min + 10 Q&A and a report IEEE Style 4 pages
Master Students: give a presentation of 30 min + 10 Q&A and a report IEEE Style 6 pages
