Welcome to the ICSE lecture in the winter term 2020/2021.
- The first lecture takes place on Friday, Oct 30th.
- Exercises start in the second week (Nov 2nd-6th, 2020)!
Registration
Please read the following instructions carefully!
- Register for lecture: this is for estimating the amount of students and whether additional resources are required. Register via LSF (link to LSF entry).
IMPORTANT: This registration is only there for statistical reasons. Registration does not guarantee a place in one of the exercise groups. - Register for Exercise: attending exercises is mandatory, please register via the course's elearning system.
IMPORTANT: Capacity in exercises is limited! Hence, you have to give preferences for each exercise group. The assignment to groups is automatically calculated such that the amount of people who do not get their favourite exercise group is minimized.
Material
Slides, tutorial tasks as well as supplmental material will be made available on the course webpage.
NOTE: you must register in the course's elearning system to have access to the material and follow announcements.

Exercises
Exercises will be given online as Zoom meetings. You need to register a zoom account with your student email address (provided by URZ, ending in ...@st.ovgu.de) and download the zoom client to participate. The meeting IDs are published within the course's elearning system.

Tutorials
Tutorials are designed to give you a head start on programming basics and tutors will happily answer questions regarding the exercise tasks (but not solve them for you... ).

Exam
The date for the exam will be announced by the examination office in the middle of December. The exam itself will take place between February and March.
To be admitted to the exam you have to fulfill the following
Requirements:
- activate participation during the exercises
- at least 2/3 of the exercise task have been successfully submitted
- you presented at least twice during the exercises
